Update:
I leave for The Northern Tour of the Cultural Triangle on Thursday. I will be gone one week, and when I get back I have 3 days to write a 14 page paper on Archeological History of Sri Lanka. AAAAAA!!!!!
My aacci (grandma) in Sri Lanka is in the hospital, so please pray for her. She had an asthma attack, and has just gone downhill from there. Yesterday, her kidneys failed. My amma (mom) says that she doesn't think she will recover and just wants to take her home. I feel so bad, because there is not much I can do for the family, as both an outsider and insider.

That is a tough situation I hope that your aacci gets better, and will keep her in my thoughts. The Northern Tour sounds like a lot of fun. I am just finishing up my time here in Tours. Some of my classes start next week (Yikes!). Hope we have a chance to skype eventually...

We are jealous of you and Reme and your wonderful tours. The Mrs. & I toured Mission Viejo this weekend – among the highlights were an Olympic bicycle race site, a Korean War plaque, FIFA World Cup training facility and Orange County Fire Authority Station 24. (Yes, we are a bit odd.)
ReplyDeleteNatalie has been enjoying orientation and signed up for classes today. She is taking Writing, Psychology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology – Yuck! She is planning to audition for Choir tomorrow. Lilia is at the college auditioning now.
