Soundtrack of My Life

Every morning I walk to the ISLE center, one ear bud in my left ear, attached to the IPOD that creates the soundtrack of my life. Sometimes I have it on shuffle, other times I have it on one of my mixes. The main people who create my morning track are Julia Nunes, Say Anything, Molly Lewis, Aberfeldy, Jonathan Coulton, and a few others. Julia is definitely rocking my world right now, keeping me pumped, and teaching me to live life. God she is amazing!

I find it so enjoyable to have music playing while walking, because I feel driven by the music and the scenery. Sometimes the music and the scenery do not mix, but at other times I could not have chosen a better moment. When I walk in Kandy, I put my head phones in and drown out the machungs who yell things, and I imagine that the music is the soundtrack in a movie that I am in, walking along this road. It makes me think, you know? I’m still not sure what this all means, but I just wanted to share. Here are some of my favorites:

Colorblind – Say Anything
Roles Reversed – Julia Nunes
I Want To Know – The Mavericks
Into the Sunshine – Julia Nunes
It All Makes Sense in the End – Molly Lewis
Just Apathy – Tally Hall
New Routine – Fountains of Wayne
Pen to Paper – Julia Nunes
Summer’s Gone – Aberfeldy
The Future Soon – Jonathan Coulton
Short and Sweet – Julia Nunes
Walk Through Hell – Say Anything
